Everything we offer is built for recovery
We're In It With You
Every session starts the same way, no matter what: "How are you doing today, really?" That question matters here.
If you're stressed, triggered, or just having a hard one, we adjust. We meet you where you are.
Trainers work out alongside their clients. You'll look over and see your trainer getting after it with you not watching from the side with a clipboard.
That shared effort builds something real. It's one of the reasons clients call this place a family.
Personal Training

One-on-one, tailored to your goal sheet, and completely free for Cottonwood clients. Sessions go beyond reps and sets, expect real conversation, emotional check-ins, and a trainer who knows your story and trains with you, not just at you.
Trainer styles include fat loss and strength, holistic mobility and flexibility, and more. You can work with multiple trainers depending on what you need most.
Group Fitness

Boot Camp Tuesdays
High-energy group training sessions that build community alongside conditioning. These sessions are core to the Brenda's House of Hope morning program and open to other clients.
Yoga & Tai Chi
Recovery-conscious movement focused on breath, stillness, mindfulness, and physical restoration.
The group setting matters. When men push each other, hold each other accountable, and cheer each other on, the gym becomes part of the recovery community itself.
Nutrition Coaching

Led by April, our certified nutrition coach. Integrated with personal training to help clients build a sustainable, healthy lifestyle and not just a workout routine. Meal planning, education, and practical guidance.
Adolescent Training

Youth ages 13 and up are served through Cottonwood's juvenile program.
Boys group focuses on strength training, movement, and confidence building.
Girls group focuses on yoga with April, mindfulness, and holistic wellness

- Thursdays at 5pm: Girls group — yoga with April, mindfulness, and holistic wellness.
"If we can get to them now, we're already setting them up for success as adults."
Recovery Education

Matt delivers an 8-module live presentation to IOP groups at Cottonwood. Topics include: better sleep, more energy, stress relief, craving reduction, improved mood, and restored confidence.
This is where most new Ironwood members come from and it's available to partner agencies as well.
Membership Program

Complete Aftercare → another 6 free months.
Because the work doesn't end at graduation. Neither do we.

The Culture
Ironwood is intimate by design. It's not a packed commercial gym where you're fighting for equipment and nobody knows your name. Here, everybody knows everybody. The trainers know your goals, your challenges, and your story. So do the other members because a lot of them are walking a similar road.
When you don't show up, we call. Not about the session but to ask if you're okay. If you relapse, you are still welcome. Recovery is not a straight line and Ironwood is not conditional. We'll still be here when you're ready to come back.
No Car? No problem.
Cottonwood offers transportation assistance for clients who need it. You do not need your own vehicle to access Ironwood. Talk to your case manager or contact Cottonwood intake to arrange a ride.
